OrdersPayment InformationWe accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover (as well as PayPal) as forms of payment. It is our policy to not charge your card until we confirm that your order has shipped (the only exception is for Pre-Order bikes like SE Bikes that have extremely high demand. For these Pre-order bikes, we do charge upon placement of the order since they will sell out quickly). We do, however, obtain an authorization on your card at the time of your order for the full amount of your order. Please note that this may appear temporarily as a charge on your account statement, but it is an authorization only and usually will go away after 24-48 hours. [top]Re-authorizations After the Initial OrderWe also obtain authorizations for the outstanding balance of your order if a) your order partially ships or b) the existing authorization is about to expire. Should the re-authorization not be successful, we will contact you for new payment information. If we are not able to obtain a valid authorization, we reserve the right to either cancel your order or charge your card for the outstanding balance of your order. If, after we charge your card as a result of not being able to re-authorize, you wish to cancel your order, please contact us by phone at 305-661-8363 or email at orders@mackcycleandfitness.com and we will refund your card provided that your order has not yet shipped. [top]Order ConfirmationAfter placing an order you will get a confirmation email within 10 minutes. If you place an order with us and don't get an confirmation email check your "junk" mail folder - it will probably be in there; otherwise, shoot us an email at orders@mackcycleandfitness.com and we'll re-send an order confirmation to your email immediately. [top]Order StatusWhen you place an order with us, you will receive a link that will allow you to track that order. Once your order ships you will receive another email with tracking information (if available). Closeout ItemsMany items on sale from Mack Cycle and Fitness are reduced by 20% or more from the retail price. If an item is sold at a reduced price of 20% lower than MSRP, it is sold "as is". Specifically, great deals on bikes are a result of the bike being a non-current year bike. Specifications may change on these bikes that are closeouts and priced 20% or more below the original msrp. [top]Sales TaxDue to recent governmental legislation, depending on the state that Mack Cycle ships to, sales tax may be assessed to the subtotal of the goods that you are purchasing. If your state requires Mack Cycle to remit taxes to your state government, you will see a line item for taxes in your shopping cart. We are located in Florida so all Florida customers will be subject to sales tax and there are currently several states that do require Mack Cycle to charge sales tax. [top]BackordersOccasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order. [top]CouponsPromotional coupon codes are valid towards apparel and accessories but coupon codes (many of which are already heavily discounted) are not eligible towards bicycles. Oversize Items
International ShippingFor customers living outside of the United States, we do recommend setting up a freight forwarding account with a U.S. based freight forwarder. Mack Cycle and Fitness can ship to freight forwarding addresses and the customer can arrange to have those packages forwarded to a non U.S. address. Many customers do reserve a dedicated credit card for purchases that ship to a freight forwarder (having your freight forwarder address on file with the credit card company will minimize delays since customer addresses would be verified right away). [top]In Store PickupOrders requesting in-store pickup will be ready after 2:00 pm the following business day. We are happy to accommodate quicker pickup times if you call us by phone at 305-661-8363 to confirm the order prior to picking it up. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 10 days. If not picked up within 10 days the order will be cancelled. [top]Race PickupOrders requesting local race pickup will be delivered on race day. When placing your order please specify the race in the order comments. [top]Return and Exchange PolicyReturnsWe want you to be happy with your order! With some exceptions (see below), if you are not satisfied with your order you may return it within 30 days of your receipt of merchandise for a refund of the purchase price less the original shipping fees. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and any shipping fees originally paid on your order are non-refundable. Here are the exceptions and clarifications:
Returns can be shipped using UPS, Fedex, or USPS (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to a restocking fee. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.).
